Track & Field and Road Race Training
Road race training has completed with the last races held in November. The Spring Season will start up again in April, dates and time TBD. The focus on the track & field training follows the Paralympic Sport rules for competition. Athletes meeting qualifying standards may compete at regional meets attempting to qualify for National Championships held in July.

Recreational Movement and Exercise Program
A general exercise program for individuals looking for a more relaxed, drop-in type of program that ensures opportunity for physical exercise along with socialization and fun is being added this spring and will also start in April. Reach out to the Adaptive Sports office if you are interested in this opportunity so we can get you on the list. Date and time TBD.

Competitive Swim Team
Fall and winter practice take place on Tuesdays, 6:00 -7:00pm at the HSC Aquatic Center on the main campus of HSC: 2150 Corbin Avenue. Tuesday night practice is for swimmers who are interested in fine tuning swim strokes for competitive swimming. Swimmers must have the ability to swim a length of the pool using any stroke. The goal for swimmers participating in competitive swim training is to meet qualifying standards for regional and national level competition following guidelines set by US Paralympics.

Recreational Swim
A general recreation swim group will begin this winter, days and time to be determined based on swimmer interest and aquatic instructor availability. Reach out to the Adaptive Sports office if you are interested in this opportunity so we can get you on the list.

Note: For swimmers with limited or no swim skills, swim instruction is provided at other times by the Aquatic Rehabilitation staff.
