Physical Therapy Program
Physical therapists work to improve a person’s movement, strength and mobility in order to restore, maintain and promote physical function. We treat impairments due to neurological causes, such as, brain injury, neuromuscular diseases, spinal cord injury, stroke, as well as pulmonary diseases, amputation, orthopedic issues, musculoskeletal injuries or general debility. We work to develop individualized goals that reduce pain, prevent disability and restore movement and function.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken steps to meet your healthcare needs in a safe environment. Depending on your individual needs, we are able to provide all on-site appointments in a safe, modified environment, all telehealth appointments or a mixture of both. Ask your therapist if telehealth may be an option for you.
How We Treat
Our physical therapists work collaboratively with you, your family, and you physician to create an individualized plan of care. We work to achieve your unique goals and maximize your function. We accomplish this by leading you through exercises in our gyms, at the bedside, or in our heated therapy pool, using adaptive equipment or bracing when needed.
We teach you and your family/caregivers the exercises and skills in therapy to allow successful use of these in your own environment for optimal function
