Did you know we gained 98 new volunteers in 2018? We have 220 rotating volunteers who support a wide variety of programs including, horse leaders or side walkers, and assistants for event planning and fundraising.
Volunteers are the heart of our program. Working together with our staff and our horses, volunteers make it possible for us to provide freedom and empowerment for adults and children living with disabilities, through each of the activities we offer. Our volunteer support team works together to give our participants one of life’s most precious gifts – a feeling of self-worth, accomplishment and independence.
Shout out to one of Manes & Motions volunteers, Allison Mailhot who requested donations to Manes & Motions for her birthday in lieu of gifts.
We appreciate all of you joining us to support our programs. Please join us in our up-coming Volunteer Appreciation Potluck and Enrichment Workshop on February 16th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, to enrich lives by promoting safety and excellence through Manes & Motion’s equine-assisted activities.
