David's Fight Against Double Diagnosis: ALS and PLS
In 2015 David ended up in the hospital due to aspirations and pneumonia. A few years later, after being in and out of the ICU and rehab, he was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Primary Lateral Sclerosis (PLS). A double diagnosis that his Doctor at Hospital for Special Care had never seen before. But David doesn’t let his diseases get in the way of his positive outlook. He says to everyone diagnosed with ALS: Fight. Fight until the end.
