March 20, 2024

Hospital for Special Care (HFSC) has promoted Anne Wojskowicz to the organization’s leadership team as the new chief nursing officer. As chief nursing officer, Wojskowicz will oversee the clinical care and nursing units throughout the 236-bed long-term acute care hospital. She will lead the collaboration between nursing and HFSC’s multidisciplinary team, advance care and improve outcomes, and provide professional development opportunities for nursing professionals.

Wojskowicz joined HFSC 24 years ago, beginning her career in human resources. After obtaining her nursing degree, she became the nurse manager of HFSC’s pediatrics and transitional rehab units.

“We are thrilled that Anne has accepted the role as the new Chief Nursing Officer at HFSC,” said Marc Brunetti, SR. VP, chief operating officer. “Her extensive clinical experience, knowledge of the organization, and compassion for the profession make her a great fit for the role. She will have a lasting positive impact on the organization.”

Wojskowicz obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in nursing from The University of St. Joseph’s and earned her Master’s Degree in nurse management from The University of Hartford in 2018. She is currently working towards becoming a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
