Hartford Courant Names Hospital for Special Care a Winner of the Hartford, Middlesex, Tolland, New London & Windham County Top Workplaces 2024 Award

September 29, 2024

Hospital for Special Care (HFSC) has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2024 honor by Hartford Courant Top Workplaces. HFSC is one of fifty companies to make this year’s list, based solely on the feedback of employees.

“Winning the Top Workplaces 2024 regional award is a testament to our team’s commitment, resilience, and shared vision,” said Lynn Ricci, President & CEO. “I am immensely proud of what we’ve achieved together and excited for the positive impact we will continue to make.” This is the twelfth year HFSC has earned the Hartford Courant Top Workplaces award.

The Top Workplaces list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling Respected & Supported, Enabled to Grow, and Empowered to Execute, to name a few.

Hospital for Special Care has also earned the 2024 Top Workplaces USA award for the second year in a row, and a 2024 Top Workplaces for Healthcare award.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
