Pathways Youth Development Sessions with Horses

Horses are sensitive creatures that teach us valuable skills such as self-regulation and compassion. Each weekly one-hour Pathways session includes an unmounted experiential lesson working with Manes & Motions therapy horses on the ground (not riding) and guided by a certified instructor with themes that help build communication, problem solving and leadership skills in a fun and supportive environment! Through the activities, students will gain confidence and personal insights including personal strengths and skills required to build trusting relationships with horses and humans. No horse experience required.

This program is designed for youth ages 11-18 who may benefit from a positive peer activity designed to build confidence and relational skills. The fee will be waived for the first eight students thanks to support from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County and Manes & Motions Therapeutic Riding Center. Students will be registered on a first come, first served basis. Additional students may participate at a cost of $250 for a four week session.

Two sessions are available: Students may attend one. All sessions take place on Tuesdays from 5:45-7pm.
