Community Events

At this event, veterans will work with our certified equestrian professionals and therapy horses and discover how the bond between horse and human can inspire lasting connections, personal growth and self-awareness. Participants will learn the basics of horse care, communication and the principles of natural horsemanship in a quiet country setting to promote mindfulness and relaxation. This series does not include riding, however, future activities may include volunteering and or riding depending on availability. This program is being offered free to area veterans thanks to the generous support of the Horses for Heroes program at Manes & Motions Therapeutic Riding Center. This is a six week series beginning July 2nd. Each weekly session is two hours.
