POSTPONED: Alzheimer’s, Dementia and Memory Loss: Personal & Professional Perspectives Lunch & Learn

Hospital for Special Care’s (HFSC) Center for Cognitive Health will host a free lunch and learn presentation for individuals, caregivers, professionals and interested members of the community. The event titled, Alzheimer’s, Dementia and Memory Loss: Personal & Professional Perspectives, will include a presentation by a Connecticut woman living with Alzheimer’s disease, including a candid discussion of her experiences navigating the health care system and daily life while coping with the impact of the disease. HFSC Center for Cognitive Health team members, including occupational and physical therapists, speech language pathologists and psychologists, will also provide recommendations and strategies for maintaining independence and respond to participant questions about memory loss, healthy aging and other topics. A box lunch will be provided to all participants.
