2025 Wrapped: A Highlight of Expanded Services and Care

Expansion of Services:
Our Neuromuscular Center opened a new location in Hebron, CT. The expansion brings advanced diagnostic and treatment services for neuromuscular conditions to a new outpatient location, making care more accessible for patients in eastern Connecticut. Led by Annie Daniel, MD, HFSC’s new Medical Director of Neuromuscular, and practicing alongside Lucas Benchaya, MD, the center offers a full range of specialized services, including nerve conduction studies and advanced electromyography (EMG) procedures. The Hebron location further solidifies our standing as the largest and most comprehensive neuromuscular center in Connecticut, expanding reach and reducing barriers to care for patients with complex neuromuscular conditions, including ALS.
Expansion of Care:
From providing onsite dental care for our medically-complex patients in partnership with UConn School of Dental Medicine, to dental appointment desensitization for our autism patients, we evolved opportunities for our patients, as well as the next generation of healthcare providers.
