Aging and Brain Health – Language of Dementia Behaviors
Hospital for Special Care’s Center for Cognitive Health presents free monthly lunch and learn sessions focusing on topics related to cognitive impairment and options for care. Come learn about latest evidence-based practice and how this can benefit your brain health as you age. Presentations are offered in-person or virtually on the first Thursday of every month.
November's session will focus on language of dementia behaviors. Not knowing what to do next, dealing with aggressive behavior, feeling overwhelmed and stressed, difficulty balancing caregiving with other responsibilities? Jonah Francis, CEO of Pansy Homecare Service, LLC will present information needed to be successful in caring for a loved with dementia.
A light lunch will be provided, and staff will be available afterwards to answer questions and provide tours of the hospital. Please RSVP as space is limited and registration is required. When calling, please note if you will be attending in-person or remote.
