Gift is largest to date in support of outpatient expansion for specialty programs
NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (Nov. 14, 2011) – The Maximilian E. & Marion O. Hoffman Foundation, Inc. has awarded Hospital for Special Care (HSC) $1 million in support of the hospital's $5.9 million capital campaign. The 'Hope Campaign' initiative will fund expansion of HSC's specialty outpatient programs at the hospital's New Britain campus that currently serves more than 30,000 outpatient visits each year.
NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (Nov. 10, 2011) – Hospital for Special Care (HSC) has appointed William J. Pesce, DO, to the position of Chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for the hospital.
In his new post, Pesce will now oversee inpatient and outpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation services including spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury, cerebrovascular accident and orthopedic trauma patients.
