At HSC, we know that the financial aspects of healthcare can be complicated. From understanding insurance coverage, to reading invoices and billing statements, as well as applying for financial assistance, our Admissions and Fiscal staffs are here to help our patients and families.
Prior to admission, staff members will work with patients families to verify health insurance benefits and information. Patient and families can then consider the financial impact of the anticipated admission to HSC.
Once patients are admitted to HSC, we continue to help with financial information. Patients’ Case Managers or Social Workers can offer guidance in contacting the appropriate Patient Account Representatives or Fiscal Counselor. These individuals provide assistance with:
