Vice President of Nursing
Required: Master's degree in nursing or health service management/administration; graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of CT; five years successful healthcare management experience demonstrating effective leadership abilities to include creative planning, analytical problem solving, and articulate conclusion in a clear manner; visible leader with excellent interpersonal skills who relates well to all levels of staff and demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement. Prior experience managing multi-site-health-care facilities preferred. The Vice President of Nursing provides clinical leadership ensuring quality of care and service excellence. She/he is responsible for implementing hospital-wide program, policies and procedures that address how nursing care needs of the patient population are assessed, met and evaluated. Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining nursing service goals, objectives and standards of nursing practice.
